SAIC, Inc. (NYSE:SAI) announced it was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) to build the Egyptian Armed Forces Combat Training Center (AFCTC) No. 3 for the Training Authority of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Ministry of Defense, in Cairo, Egypt. The single-award contract has a three-year period of performance and a total value of more than $46 million. Work will be performed primarily in Orlando, Fla. and San Diego, Calif.

SAIC, Inc. scientific, engineering, systems integration, and technical services and solutions to various branches of the U.S. military, agencies of the U.S. Department of Defense, the intelligence community, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the other U.S. government civil agencies, state and local government agencies, foreign governments, and customers in select commercial markets.
