Six Flags Entertainment Corp (NYSE:SIX) announced that it was included in this year's InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the nation's most innovative users of business technology. This marks the first time the theme park operator has been recognized in the field of information technology. The 2011 list was revealed last night at a gala awards ceremony at the InformationWeek 500 Conference.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation owns and operates regional theme, water, and zoological parks in North America. As of December 31, 2010, the company operated 19 parks.
